Each class starts with some warm up exercises, to loosen up. The class then involves a combination of Taoist breathing
exercises, K'ai Men exercises (Taoist Yoga exercises), T'ai Chi Dance, T'ai Chi Form, and a selection of partner
exercises. It is advisable to wear loose clothing to the class.
The balance of these exercises help to develop your inner energy (Chi), and give you a practical application of Taoist
philosophy. Over time you will notice many benefits; some of these include improved energy levels, relaxation,
improved flexibility, balance and health.
The movements are very gentle, and the emphasis is on remaining relaxed and comfortable whilst carrying out the exercises.
The classes are not competitive, so people can develop at their own rate, and are suitable for everyone.
Beginners are welcome to every class, so come and try it out!
